TOKYO: Tears ran down the cheeks of national powerlifter Jong Yee Khie (pix) as he mounted the podium after winning the silver medal in the men’s 107 kilogramme category at the Tokyo Paralympic Games today.

Yee Khie clearly was unable to hide his feelings after not being able to celebrate his success here along with his mother, the late Chow Good Sing, who died of a heart attack last October.
