Traveling to Malaysia? You might want to avoid the Woodlands Checkpoint.

Earlier this morning, travellers found themselves stuck in a massive jam at the checkpoint.

The Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) also reported that traffic is slow and advised travellers to check the traffic before going to Malaysia.

However, an hour later, ICA updated with the same bad news.

This time, ICA advised travellers to avoid the checkpoint if they do not need to travel urgently.

Travellers who are already waiting there started wondering if there is something wrong. Some of them suspect that the system is down.

Soon, ICA gave another update.

Traffic is slow due to the system experiencing issues earlier. It seemed that heavy traffic with the automated system caused the massive jam.

However, ICA also reported that the system is now back to normal, although, traffic at the checkpoint still has not cleared up yet.

For those looking to travel to Malaysia, they can either use the Tuas Checkpoint or postpone their travel till later. Travellers are also advised to check the traffic before traveling too.
