Malaysian woman charged with stabbing Singaporean landlord in Yishun flat

A woman was charged in court with causing hurt to her 76-year-old landlord with a dangerous weapon at a Yishun flat.

Malaysian Woo Mui Mee, 34, allegedly stabbed Mr William Wong Keng Woo inside the three-room unit on the second floor of Block 114, Yishun Ring Road.

Woo is accused of using a paper cutter to inflict injuries on Mr Wong's left forehand.

Clad in a red T-shirt and dark blue bermudas, Woo arrived at the State Courts in a police car at around 9am.

She had been remanded for investigation.

The prosecution told the court that it is very likely the charge may be upgraded.

He was pronounced dead at about 11.40pm. Neighbours had heard a commotion lasting about 15 minutes at about 8pm.
