Have you seen this man?
He was caught on camera at Waterway Point's Subway. He had stolen a laptop that was on the seat while the owner was queuing for her food.

According to a Facebook post by Gerald Gerald Gerald, who is supposedly the boyfriend of the laptop owner, the incident took place on Friday (26 Jan), at about 7pm.

He had posted the security feed from the store, which showed the man pretending to queue for food before making his escape with the laptop.

As of time of reporting, a police report has been made but the thief is still at large.

Btw why would someone be so careless! Yes Singapore is a safe country but that does not mean that you should leave valuables around to CHOPE seats. Its like leaving a thousand dollar on the table to CHOPE seat and not expect curious itchy kleptomaniacs to try and take it. Even leaving clothes to dry outside the corridor to self help by strangers, what would one suspect

CHOPE means to "booked" or symbolize that table or seat is has been taken by the owner of the item left there. In some country i. e. Singapore, it could be a packet of tissue paper or a book.
