NTU graduate who has been jobless for 3 years resorts to $7.50/hr manual labour job
A Nanyang Technological University graduate has reached out to Transitioning, a support group for the unemployed and underemployed, revealing that he has resorted to taking on a manual job that pays $7.50 per hour since he has been jobless for the past three years despite having a degree.
The graduate, known only as Chua, reportedly has a degree in electrical engineering but has been unable to find appropriate work since he graduated. His dire circumstances forced him to accept a temporary job as a production operator as he says no other company is willing to hire him.
