Ran over by a lorry and still in ICU: Are you able to help this auntie?
A fellow Singaporean needs help. Are you able to help?
On 1 February, a woman was involved in an accident with a lorry at the junction of Woodlands Avenue 3 and Woodlands Central Road. She was crossing the road at the pedestrian crossing when she was ran over by a lorry.
The lorry dragged her along the road before slowing down to a halt. Trapped under the vehicle, she could only wait till shocked passersby rescue her by pulling her out.
Her phone was smashed and most of her clothes were torn off. She also suffered serious injuries, especially on her leg. Huge pieces of her skin were ripped off, revealing raw flesh, muscles and tendons. Her shoulder was dislocated, her face was bruised and swollen. She also suffered multiple rib fractures.
As of now, she is still intubated at ICU.
On 4 February, her family posted to Facebook, appealing for witnesses to come forward. Days later, they still have not found any witnesses, despite the hundreds of comments and thousands of shares.
Are you able to help?
