Someone tried to sell 6 NDP tickets for S$1,000 on Facebook despite knowing it is not allowed
Ticket balloting for the 2018 National Day Parade (NDP) has concluded.
And for those who managed to get the tickets, some are looking to make a quick buck by selling them off.
she shared two screenshots of people trying to sell NDP tickets.
In the first screenshot, it showed that someone was trying to sell six NDP tickets for the actual day (Aug 9). They were going for S$180.
And according to the second screenshot, another account was trying to sell six tickets as well.
The second account apparently wanted to sell the six tickets for S$1,000.
As many would know, selling NDP tickets is not allowed and those caught doing so will be barred from balloting for the next three years.
But when the seller was questioned about it, he said he knew that the tickets could not be sold.
In a bid to reassure the ‘potential buyer’, however, he added: “Don’t worry, no people know.”
Nazrin posted the details and screenshots on the Singapore Police Force (SPF) Facebook page.
The SPF responded, saying that she may lodge a police report at a Neighbourhood Police Centre/Post.
This is not the first time that this has happened.
