I Eat Design: An inaugural festival infusing food and design

A curated local online destination based locally, Naiise is proud to debut its I Eat Design festival. Scheduled to be held over this weekend at the design retailer flagship store located at The Cathay, both food and design enthusiasts are in for a time of feast. Here’s Nestia’s quick guide to what you can anticipate at the event for the next two days.

Demochoco chocolate truffles

Made in the nama-choco style, chocolate truffles from Demochoco offer a melt-in-your-mouth texture with a high cream to chocolate ratio.

Warm mocktails and tea pairings

The festival features a collaboration between 1872 Clipper Tea Co. and Jewels by Cheng, on standby to conjure unique flavours of delightful tea pairings.

DIY Granola parfait workshop

Have a go at the granola parfait making workshop organised by Eastern Granola and BoxGreen. I’m sure it is of sheer delight to dig into your very own masterpiece parfait, pretty and worth your effort. Workshops at the festival require pre-registration prior to the event.

Edible paint fondant workshop

An interesting class for art and baking enthusiasts to pick up skills on making icing as well as do up simple decorations with techniques being taught in-house. An activity that plays around with edible food colouring, marrying food and design into a single, interesting concept to be enjoyed.
