The streets of Singapore are never dull. Not when it's seen through the eyes and lenses of local photographers Aik Beng Chia or Mark Teo.

For its third installment, ION Orchard's Art Photography Series takes art to the street. The photo exhibition showcases the multi-facade streets of Singapore, told through the power of the two photographers.

For Teo, his sports and action photography style gives you a glimpse into the things that happen so fast, you wouldn't have seen it at first glance. Teo's accolades include being the first Asian photographer to work at the Red Bull headquarters in Austria.

Aik, however, adds a more personal touch to his street photography. While he also captures moments that go unnoticed, Aik's style tends towards the everyday life of Singaporeans, things that you can easily identify from little things such as an elderly person reading the papers at his favourite koptiam for the last few decades.

For those who wish to revisit the solemn moments of Singapore's founding prime minister Lee Kuan Yew's passing, Aik's "Singkarpor" project gives you a glimpse at the feelings of Singaporeans during the mourning period.

The exhibition, which opens from now till 23 October, accepts visitors from 10am to 10pm daily at ION Art Gallery located at level 4 of ION Orchard.
