Filming for After Life season three is now officially in post-production and fans are keeping their fingers crossed that they won't be waiting much longer.

This is the first time Ricky Gervais has ever decided to make a third instalment of one of his TV projects and he said he wasn't going to "just do it for the sake of it." However, the demand was clearly there, with season two proving to be even more popular than the first season and racking up 80 million views on Netflix. And so, season three was announced only a couple of weeks after season two premiered.
