Apple Studios are set to finance a new film from Green Book director Peter Farrelly titled The Greatest Beer Run Ever.

The flick is based on the wild true story documented in the book The Greatest Beer Run Ever: A Memoir of Friendship, Loyalty, & War, written by Chick Donahue and J.T. Molloy.

According to Deadline, the story follows Chick Donahue as he left New York in 1967 to bring beer to his Army buddies in while they were fighting in the Vietnam war.
