Businesses near Covid clusters bear the brunt as customers stay away

Cake shop owner Tan Kooi Tiang used to serve up to 200 customers a day, but this has dwindled to 30 to 40 over the past three weeks.
She is one of the shop owners affected by the emergence of four Covid-19 clusters in Bukit Merah View and Redhill.

Bukit merah area, some coffee shops, bakeries and convenience stores were still in operation. But the market and food centre is closed till Saturday. The tenant there were worried about both their health and their business. They also scared the customers or the people here may have Covid-19 so they dont dare to walk about too much.

Really bo pian. If so unfortunate that the cluster broke up at areas near your areas of businesses. Naturally, people will try to avoid.
