PETALING JAYA: Mohd Ridzuan Puzi is on track for his second gold after storming into the men’s 100m T36 final at the Tokyo National Stadium.

In the first heat, Australia’s James Turner showed why he was the best in the category when he broke Ridzuan’s 2016 Paralympics record of 12.06 with a superb time of 11.87.

Turner is also the world record holder with a time of 11.72.

It was also the fastest heat as China’s Deng Peicheng and Argentina’s Alexis Chavez also recorded sub-12 with their times of 11.88 and 11.91 respectively.
