The streaming platform under the name Disney+ is set to launch in Thailand on June 30.According to Reuters, Disney plans to kickstart the service in the kingdom at the end of June alongside Malaysia which could be launched on June 1. The source also reveals that the number of worldwide subscription of Disney+ is "significantly decelerating as the initial pandemic boost has waned", with a total of 103.6 million customers subscribing to the service (recorded in April 2021).The recent release WandaVision has helped Disney+ to pick up more hype among Marvel fans. The series has received rave reviews from both the audiences and the critics with the scores hitting 92% on Rotten Tomatoesand 8.1 on IMDB.Disney+Netflix's next nemesis plans to unveil a lot of new original productions this year, including The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, and Star Wars series The Book of Boba Fett.The service also plans to continue the experiment on "movie distribution", as Reuter said that Disney+ looks to make some theater-exclusive movies available on the platform for 45 days. This scheme has been employed by many studios to gear towards home viewing. Free Guy and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the 10 Rings are two titles revealed by the source as the flicks that will be premiered on Disney+.The current monthly subscription price is $8, but it's still not announced regarding how much the subscription of Disney+ in Thailand would cost.
