FKA twigs begs lover to ‘take care of her heart’ on new song after Shia LaBeouf relationship

FKA twigs pours her heart out on her new song featuring Headie One following her turbulent relationship with Shia LaBeouf. 

The 33-year-old singer released Don’t Judge Me this week along with the haunting music video which sees her singing and dancing in an empty room. 

Don’t Judge Me is an extended version of the Judge Me interlude from Headie One’s critically acclaimed Gang mixtape from last year. 

FKA’s lyrics include: ‘Don’t judge me / I know that s**t f***ery / I was broke and I loved myself / Nobody even loved me. 

‘Don’t judge me, take care of me / Don’t judge me, take care of my heart / Don’t judge me, be there for me / Don’t judge me, just hold me in your arms.’ 

It’s likely the words were inspired by FKA’s recent relationship with Shia, which ended last year. 

In December, the Two Weeks singer announced she was suing the Transformers actor for sexual battery, assault and emotional distress which she allegedly endured during their year-long relationship. 

The musician recently revealed she’s suffered PTSD due to the alleged abuse, including an incident where FKA claims Shia tried to throttle her in broad daylight.
