It provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for all to experience an erupting volcano up close and is just minutes from both Reykjavík and Keflavík International Airport.The orange, glowing rivers of lava, predicted to continue for months or even years, form a surreal and stunning vista reachable after a 90-120 minute hike to the site.
