While Intel has unveiled its first dedicated laptop GPUs, their desktop counterparts remain elusive for the time being. So far, the company has only teased the latter's design, discussed separately. Thought to be the Arc A770 Graphics, other cards like the Arc A780 Graphics are now rumoured to have been delayed until Q3 2022.Still, it seems that the Arc A770 Graphics remains on track. As the screenshots below show, the graphics card has appeared on Geekbench under the name 'Intel Corporation CoffeeLake Client Platform', albeit because of the Core i5-9600K processor with which it was benchmarked. Brought to our attention by @Benchleaks, the listing reports that the Arc A770 Graphics has 512 Compute Units (CUs), also known as Execution Units (EUs).In other words, the Arc A770 Graphics has 32 Xe cores. Presumably, Intel bases the graphics card on the ACM-G10, a GPU that it also uses in the Arc A770M. Both cards should feature 16 GB of GDDR6 VRAM too, although Geekbench reports 12.7 GB as being present. Also, Geekbench claims that the Arc A770 Graphics has a 2.4 GHz clock speed, likely its boost clock. Unfortunately, Geekbench does not list the card's base clock. For reference, the Arc A770M has a 1,650 MHz base clock speed. Regardless, the Arc A770 Graphics scored 85,585 in Geekbench OpenCL, comparable with the GeForce RTX 2070 and RX 6600 XT.Ultimately, we would not read too much into Arc A770 Graphics performance at this stage. However, it seems that Intel is not targeting upper mid-range cards like the RX 6700 XT and the RTX 3070. Intel is expected to announce the Arc A770 Graphics this summer.Purchase the Intel Core i9-12900K on Amazon
