A 74-year-old woman fell and fractured her shoulder after her umbrella got hooked on the power-assisted bicycle (PAB) of a man who was riding illegally on the footpath.
S. Davanand, 33, a part-time Deliveroo rider at the time, was sentenced in court on Thursday (May 19) to four days' jail.

A man riding e-bike illegally on the footpath caused a 74-year old woman to suffer fractured shoulder in the accident involving her umbrella got hooked in the power-assisted bicycle and the old woman's jaw and shoulder hit the ground causing her shoulder to fracture and her medical bills were $17 thousands plus.
