Megat hopes govt considers incentive for Ziyad’s sacrifices

PETALING JAYA: A two-minute delay probably cost Mohd Ziyad Zolkefli a chance to snag RM1 million he would have received for winning the men’s shot putt F20 gold medal at the Tokyo Paralympics.

And chef de mission Datuk Seri Megat D Shahriman Zaharudin is now hoping the government will consider giving some form of incentive to Ziyad following his disqualification in the event.
