Mining giant BHP set to snub coal as profits dip 4%
SYDNEY: Mining giant BHP said profits fell 4% in the year ending in June, as the Anglo-Australian firm signalled a transition away from the intensely polluting thermal coal market on Tuesday.
The company reported annual net profit of just under US$8 billion, versus US$8.3 billion in the year before.
