Norwich boss Daniel Farke was very unhappy with Christos Tzolis following the Carabao Cup third round defeat to Liverpool on Tuesday night. The Reds progressed to the last-16 due to a Takumi Minaimno double and Divock Origi header but the Canaries spurned a terrific chance to draw level in the first-half. Tzolis' tame penalty down the middle was saved by Reds keeper Caoimhin Kelleher and Farke revealed after the match that the Greek forward was not the designated penalty-taker on the night. Tzolis' tame penalty down the middle was saved by Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher'He's made this mistake once,' Farke said. In general today we have created many, many chances against a good Liverpool side. 'We created so many scenes and of course in the first half the best chance of the game was the penalty situation.'Farke added that despite his team's torrid Premier League start - zero points from their first five games - he is disappointed with their early exit from the cup competition.  The Greek forward's miss proved costly as Liverpool progressed to the last-16 on Tuesday'We wanted to win the Carabao Cup and now we can't. I am disappointed with this.'I know how much I measure this cup and I would like to win but we also had to be smart in our team selection and rest some players.'Overall I was pleased with our performance. We created so many situations but we were unable to convert our key chances.'
