Man Utd have decided they will loan out youngster Amad Diallo in the summer transfer window, according to reports.The Red Devils bought Amad for £37m from Italian side Atalanta in January and signed a deal until 2025 at Old Trafford with the option of a further year.However, he was limited to just three Premier League appearances in the second half of last season and a further five appearances in other competitions.Here we go: F365s season predictions for 2021/22That was actually more senior appearances than he made in 18 months in the Atalanta first team but it’s not been enough to aid his development.With Jadon Sancho joining Man Utd from Borussia Dortmund this summer, Amad will be pushed further down the pecking order at Old Trafford.And now the Manchester Evening News claims that Man Utd are ‘expected to let Amad leave on loan before the transfer window closes’.He represented the Ivory Coast at the Olympics in favour of joining up with pre-season training at United and he is now being ‘lined up for a temporary move’.On completing the signing of Diallo back in January, Solskjaer said: As a club, we have followed Amad for a number of years. And, having watched him myself, I believe he is one of the most exciting young prospects in the game.Manchester United has such a proud history of developing young players and everything is in place to enable Amad to reach his potential here.It will take time for him to adapt, but his speed, vision and fantastic dribbling ability will stand him in good stead to make the transition.He is a player with all of the raw attributes that are needed to be an important player for Manchester United in the years to come.Amad has settled in well to life at Man Utd with team-mate Dan James praising him in February for being “unbelievable in training”.James said: Amad has come in and, as a young lad, hes been unbelievable in training.I mean his professionalism [is very good] and hes settled in straight away, Id say, do you know what I mean?We see his quality in training, he has unbelievable feet, but weve seen he also presses well and wins the ball back, which is exactly what we want.
