(CNN)The Premier League says its clubs have "reluctantly but unanimously" decided not to release players for matches in countries on the UK's red-list for the upcoming international break next month.

According to UK government guidelines, anyone returning from a red-list country must quarantine for 10 full days, meaning players could miss multiple club games.
