Puffed up with pride: Singapore restaurant creates nasi lemak curry puff
KUALA LUMPUR: First, they came up with the nasi lemak burger. Now, Singapore has gotten the edge over Malaysia again with their latest nasi lemak hybrid – a nasi lemak curry puff.
Encased in a green flaky crust, the curry puff is stuffed with chicken, ikan bilis, peanuts, a wedge of boiled egg, and – of course – sambal.

There's no hint of “lemak” nor coconut in the puff though, seeing as the green pastry is simply the result of pandan essence and food colouring.……
