PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian contingent marched out as nation No. 139 at the National Stadium in Tokyo as the Tokyo Paralympics got underway with a scaled-down opening ceremony last night.

Powerlifter Bonnie Bunyau Gustin and women’s 400m runner Siti Noor Iasah Mohd Ariffin, looking resplendent in their official uniforms, were the flagbearers leading out the contingent along with chef de mission Datuk Seri Megat D. Shahriman.
