Well see what the evaluations will be if he does leave.”Elsewhere at Tottenham, 17-year-old Alfie Devine has been handed his first professional contract.Devine became Spurs’ youngest-ever player and goalscorer in January when he netted against Marine in the FA Cup and has been rewarded with a new deal.The club said on the official website: “We are delighted to announce that Alfie Devine has signed his first professional contract with the Club.“The young midfielder, who celebrates his 17th birthday today, has signed a contract that will run until 2024.“Alfie joined the Academy from Wigan in the summer of 2020 and made his first team debut in our FA Cup win over Marine in January 2021, coming off the bench to become the Clubs youngest-ever player and goalscorer.”Spurs have also managed to tie Son Heung-min down to a new contract, with the winger committing to a four-year extension.Kevin Phillips described it as Spurs’ “best deal of the summer”.“You would have to say credit to the player, he loves it at Tottenham,” he told Football Insider.“You can see that smile whenever he plays and the fans love him as well.
