KUCHING: Sarawak recorded an encouraging Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) 2019 result when 96 of its candidates achieved Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.00.

Sarawak Education director Dr Azhar Ahmad said this represented an increase from 92 candidates in 2018, and 1,913 candidates out of 5,837 candidates who sat for the exam last year received a CGPA of 3.00 and above.
