(Reuters) -France's players' union (UNFP) has thrown its support behind AC Milan midfielder Adrien Rabiot after Serie A Chief Executive Luigi De Siervo dismissed his concerns about scheduling Milan's league match against Como in Australia next February.

The 30-year-old France international had criticised the move as "crazy" earlier this week, prompting De Siervo to respond on Wednesday and say that footballers should respect the money they make and their employers.
