Takumi Minamino has admitted he harbours regrets over his role in Liverpool's Premier League title triumph after failing to score or assist in any of his 10 appearances. The Japanese forward only moved to Anfield in January before the season was then suspended in March. He had found it difficult to adjust to life in England prior to the break as Jurgen Klopp drip-fed him into action. In fairness to Minamino though, eight of his appearances came as a substitute, while he averaged a total of less than 25 minutes of playing time per performance over the 10 games.Nevertheless, the former Red Bull Salzburg star was disappointed not to have contributed more in Liverpool's momentous season.Minamino is at his old Salzburg stomping ground at Liverpool's training camp (Image: Liverpool FC via Getty Images)Read MoreRelated ArticlesRead MoreRelated Articles"We could win the league and I am so happy I could experience that", Minamino told Super Soccer in Japan.
