Legendary striker Thierry Henry believes Georginio Wijnaldum is suffering from a lack of "structure" at Paris Saint-Germain. The Dutch international left Liverpool on a free transfer in the summer, bringing the curtain down on five excellent years at Anfield. Wijnaldum became a crucial player under manager Jurgen Klopp and played a vital role in the team winning the Premier League title and the Champions League in recent years. Despite the success, the midfielder clearly felt he needed a change in the summer and he made the move to the French capital. Wijnaldum was one of a number of high-profile signings made by PSG, with the likes of Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos and Achraf Hakimi heading to the Parc des Princes too. However, he has not yet settled at PSG, struggling to nail down a regular spot in midfield. The man himself said recently that he wasn't totally happy with life at his new club and former France international forward Thierry Henry said Wijnaldum needs more direction to thrive."Hes not a bad player, but he needs structure and there isnt one yet at PSG," said the ex-Arsenal man. "Wijnaldum must try to find a solution."The Dutch international has started half of PSG's games in Ligue 1 and already the team appears well on course for the French title, as they are nine points clear of Lens in second spot.At Liverpool, Wijnaldum was part of a cohesive machine where every player had a specific role. That's a world away from the current PSG approach, where Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe have a lot of freedom to attack.Wijnaldum has proven himself to be a fine player on the biggest stage though and manager Mauricio Pochettino will surely turn to him more frequently when there are some crunch games later in the campaign.Read MoreRelated ArticlesRead MoreRelated Articles
