Tyson Fury has branded Eddie Hearn ‘a southern w****r’ after once again taking aim at heavyweight rival Anthony Joshua.

‘The Gypsy King’ is gearing up for his trilogy fight with Deontay Wilder on 9 October, the bout that effectively shelved plans for an all-British unification showdown this summer between Fury and Joshua.

Wilder successfully forced a rematch through an arbitration hearing, leaving Joshua and his promoter Hearn to lay the blame for the fight falling through solely at the feet of Fury and his camp.

Fury sat down with Gary Neville on The Overlap where the reigning WBC champion gave his frank opinion of the Matchroom chief.

Asked by Neville if he likes Hearn, Fury replied: ‘Eddie Hearn… he is a proper southern w****r.’

Joshua had previously been interviewed by Neville on the same YouTube channel where he accused Fury of ‘bailing out’ out their fight.

‘It’s not me, it’s the other side that are letting this down,’ Joshua said.

‘We had the deal in place, we are the ones who found the venue and they bailed out on not only me but the boxing world.

‘I’ll smoke that guy [Fury]. I will, it’s annoying.’

Responding to that clip, Fury said: ‘AJ couldn’t smoke a cigarette, never mind smoke ‘The Gypsy King’.

‘He hasn’t got the minerals to fight a man like me.

‘I said it to Eddie Hearn straight, I said the difference in me and him is he is a businessman and I’m a f*****g Spartan.

‘I will absolutely annihilate that bodybuilder. And that’s why Eddie Hearn has been steering around me for the last 10 years.’
