Georginio Wijnaldum has been opening up more on his decision to leave Liverpool this summer, now claiming he didn’t feel wanted by the end of his spell there.Wijnaldum’s five-year association with Liverpool came to an end this summer when his contract expired. He moved on a free transfer to Paris Saint-Germain and vowed to shed light on his decision in due course. In July, he admitted to some of the reasons why. Now he has provided some further hints. After his previous claims of discontent at opinions aimed at him on social media, he has now spoken of an unsatisfactory situation within the club itself.Although he has said before that he felt well treated by the club, he has now changed tune somewhat. He still has plenty to choose from: Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, Thiago Alcantara, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, James Milner and Curtis Jones are all available. But Wijnaldum was a trusted player for Klopp for many years and is now enjoying a new challenge in Paris. With Liverpool yet to really see how their midfield will cope without Wijnaldum in the long term, they continue to be linked with potential replacements. They did not sign any in the summer, instead making centre-back Ibrahima Konate their only new arrival. But there were several suggestions of potential targets and that has carried on beyond the window. One man they are reportedly considering in 2022, though, would take a landmark sum to sign…READ MORE: Liverpool link sparks Dortmund to name record fee needed for January raid
