Wolves are aiming high in their pursuit of a final addition in the transfer window and want a former Liverpool and Manchester United target, according to one journalist.It was revealed yesterday that Bruno Lage wants to add a centre-back before the window closes next Tuesday. The Portuguese manager has already made four defensive additions but clearly feels another is still needed. The report suggested Wolves were looking at Marseille’s Duje Caleta-Car.The 24-year-old was recently the subject of a failed bid from West Ham. It looked like Wolves would struggle to get a deal done too due to their lack of European football.That meant unless Caleta-Car changed his stance, the East Midlands club would have to look elsewhere.And it seems they have found their next target. Fabrizio Romano has revealed that nothing is advanced or agreed with Marseille.Instead, they now want Sven Botman from Lille. They are prepared to open talks with the French side, the Italian journalist reports.Lage has serious competition in the form of Sevilla, though, who are soon to be in the market for a new centre-back.Chelsea are reportedly close to taking Jules Kounde off their hands for a fee in the region of 50m. And they want Botman as his replacement.The fee the Blues are paying could put the Spanish side in pole position for the 21-year-old, who is highly rated.Lille signed him from Ajax last summer and handed him a five-year contract. He slotted straight into their team which went on to win Ligue 1.The Netherlands under-21 international was seriously impressive in the heart of the title-winning defence. This attracted attention from both Jurgen Klopp and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.It will therefore take a significant transfer fee to take him from the French side, which Sevilla may soon have.However, Wolves may also be set to land a large transfer fee of their own. That’s because they’ve reached an agreement with Tottenham for the sale of Adama Traore.Reports over the last few days have suggested that a Spurs transfer is imminent for the Spain international. But Spanish outlet AS claims that negotiations have now stalled and that the deal could collapse before Tuesdays transfer deadline.Tottenham would like to sign Traore on loan with a compulsory purchase option of 46m (£39.3m).
