TOKYO: National powerlifting athlete Jong Yee Khie (pix) ended his team’s campaign at the Tokyo Paralympic Games by snatching the silver medal in a stunning performance on the last day of the discipline today.

Yee Khie kept the team’s winning streak going by winning the silver medal in the men’s 107 kilogramme (kg) category at the Tokyo International Forum following teammate Bonnie Bunyau Gustin’s triumphant Paralympic gold medal win, the first-ever for Malaysia in this edition, in the men’s 72 kg category last Saturday.
