KUALA LUMPUR (July 13): Police have confirmed that they are looking into the alleged leaked minutes of a Judicial Appointments Commission (JAC) meeting that went viral on social media after a police report was lodged regarding the matter.

Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail said the investigation is being handled by the Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Classifed Crimes Investigation Unit.

“The case is classified under Section 8 of the Officlal Secrets Act, SEction 203A of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998,” he said in a statement on Sunday.
