Celebrities are no strangers to hate comments and online trolling. And fortunately for Taiwanese actress Amber An, she has learned to take them in her stride.

At a recent press conference for her new drama Girls Win 3, the 38-year-old star opened up about how haters used to get to her when she first entered showbiz.

"In the past, when they announced the cast for dramas [and I was in it], people would comment: 'Why her?' and that made me doubt myself," she recalled.
