[UPDATED] MACC may call more people in bribery investigations involving Home Ministry officers

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has not ruled out the possibility of calling in more people to assist with its investigation into a bribery case involving two Home Ministry officers and a member of the public, linked to efforts to fast-track citizenship applications.
Its Strategic Communications Division said that the investigation into the case is still ongoing.
Yesterday, the MACC arrested two officers from the Home Ministry and one member of the public in an operation related to the bribery case involving efforts to expedite citizenship applications.
