The couple who feature in a new Netflix true crime series have reacted after the series hit the top spot on the most watched list.

American Nightmare centres on the shocking case of Denise Huskins and her boyfriend Aaron Quinn, who were plunged into a living nightmare when an intruder broke into their home Vallejo, California, in the dead of night and kidnapped Huskins.

With his partner gone, a distraught Quinn contacted the police only to be questioned for hours about the disappearance.
