‘I am not giving up’: Thambi Magazine Store owner seeking new Holland Village site after closure

SINGAPORE – Mr Periathambi Senthil Murugan, better known as Sam, was a marine engineering student in the 1990s when circumstances led him to take over the family-run Thambi Magazine Store.
He has since become the backbone of the business, which will see its last day of operation at Holland Road Shopping Centre on May 5.

Book store is really a good passion if someone is really fond of books. The passion of reading and getting customers will go hand in hand. The problem is this ara of mobile phones how the new generation will be consider reading books.

if rental free no harm trying.. if not, better use the $$$ enjoy your retirement dont work stress yourself anymore! nowaday ppl see hp ipad everything free dont browse expensive books or magazine anymore!
