Former Hong Kong actress Amy Yip sure knows how to throw a fab birthday bash.

The '80s Category III star, who turned 59 on June 10, celebrated her birthday over the weekend with a glamorous party at the Four Seasons Hotel in Hong Kong.

The star-studded event was attended by many of her celeb pals like Johnson Lee, Phillip Chan, Raymond Wong and Charmaine Sheh’s mum.

Guests took turns performing on stage, recreating the golden era of Hong Kong showbiz.

Even veteran actor Wu Fung joined in, singing a segment of ‘情花開’, translated to ‘Love Blossoms’.

Birthday girl Amy was, of course, the centre of attention.

She made a dramatic entrance in what reports say is a Lady Gaga-inspired look. Judging by the platinum blonde bob, we’re guessing the American pop star in her ‘Poker Face’ era?

Later in the evening, Amy changed into a flirty, sequined Tinkerbell-esque frock.

Videos of her singing and dancing on stage circulated on social media, showing her belting out Grasshopper’s classic hit ‘Jilted’.
