'Allegations are baseless': S'pore actor James Seah addresses rumours of cheating & split with wife Nicole Chang Min
Speculation is rife that the marriage between Singaporean actor James Seah and content creator Nicole Chang Min may be on the rocks, prompting Seah to address the situation on his social media.
The lack of recent interactions between the pair, along with photos of Seah pictured with other women, raised questions about possible infidelity and a break-up.
On May 1, Seah responded to the speculation in an Instagram story.
Without getting into specific details, he clarified that "any allegations and assumptions circulating online are baseless, inaccurate and taken out of context".
He then offered a cryptic comment about change: "As life goes on, people grow in different ways and [life brings] us through different paths."
He added that he will not share further about the pair's private and personal matters, and sought respect for their privacy.
Their relationship gained attention recently when a Reddit user pointed out on Apr. 20 that the pair, who got married in 2022, have stopped appearing on each other's Instagram posts for some time.
The user also highlighted that the Instagram page of the pair's dog now only names Chang Min as the pet's parent in its bio.
Commenters added to the speculation, saying that Chang Min was quiet about Seah's Best Supporting Actor nomination at the 2026 Star Awards, unlike the previous year when she cheered for his nomination on social media.
About a week after, other Reddit users shared photos of Seah accompanied by another woman at Changi Airport, and claimed they were "touchy" with each other.
The photos sparked rumours that Seah might have been cheating on Chang Min, or that the pair had already split.
On May 1, Chang Min got reflective in an Instagram story about learning to let go and finding healing.
Then, a few hours after Seah shared his response to the allegations, she also posted a story, with just three raised-eyebrow emojis.
