ALOR STAR: Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor expressed gratitude to non-governmental organisations (NGOs) that initiated a Hari Raya Aidilfitri donation drive, which raised RM200,000 to assist Kedah football players.

He said the state government and the Kedah Football Association (KFA) deeply appreciate those who contribute to the welfare of the state's football players, especially with Hari Raya Aidilfitri just around the corner.

However, Sanusi, who is also KFA president, stressed that his administration has never abandoned Kedah FC, as they are still repaying an accumulated debt of RM30 million, which he claimed was left by the previous leadership.
