'Forever war' authorisation measure faces delay in US Senate
WASHINGTON: A US Senate committee's vote on the repeal of the 2002 Authorisation for the Use of Military Force that allowed the war in Iraq was delayed for at least a day, as five Republicans on Monday (Jun 21) requested a public hearing and classified briefing.
