Although one's fantasy and one's sci-fi, Game of Thrones and 3 Body Problem have plenty in common. Both shows are based on epic book series (George R.R. Martin'sA Song of Ice and Fire and Liu Cixin'sRemembrance of Earth's Pastseries, respectively), they both have large casts of characters, both have left us with plenty of burning questions, and they're both helmed by showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss (they've been joined by The Terror showrunner Alexander Woo for this new Netflix series).
