Local celebrity couple Andie Chen and Kate Pang's son Aden has been sued by a parent for allegedly bullying his classmate.

Kate, 42, shared in a Threads post on Nov 24: "Justice can't protect you, evidence can.

"My son was recently sued by a parent, who is full of lies. Luckily, I communicated with the teacher and the parent through text messages, so there is evidence to protect us. But we still have to spend money to settle this and hire a lawyer to counter-sue them for their lies."

She also advised her followers to communicate with teachers and other parents through text messages as they're in black and white and can be used as evidence when required.

Kate added: "Also, if you don't do anything guilty in your life, you wouldn't worry about trouble knocking on your door. The most important rule in our home is 'honesty', so our children's integrity and character are known by everyone. I'm not scared at all."

The post has since been deleted.

Andie and Kate, together with their children, Aden, 10, and Avery, nine, have been living in Taiwan since 2020.

Recounting the incident to 8World in an interview published today (Nov 26), Kate shared that Aden had a classmate who is a year older and the only female in the class. Both reportedly used to have a good relationship and would hang out, and she would tell him her personal problems.
