A mother confesses her love of making her mother-in-law 'lose her mind', mocking her homophobic and transphobic tendencies by dressing her baby girl in blue whenever they meet up

A mother has admitted she purposely dresses her baby girl in blue clothes when she sees her ‘homophobic’ mother-in-law, purely to trigger a dramatic reaction based on her gendered associations with the colour. After their first baby girl was born, the 28-year-old mother said she and her husband thought nothing of the pink, glittery, girlie clothing her mother-in-law bought, dressing their daughter in it even though they chose mainly neutral clothes: “To make life easier, and because we liked it.”
