PETALING JAYA: There is no need for a royal commision of inquiry (RCI) nor an investigation by a parliamentary select committee on the alleged irregularities in judicial appointments, says the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) as the situation does not constitute a constitutional crisis.

In a statement on Tuesday (July 8), the AGC confirmed that the process is proceeding in accordance with the Federal Constitution.
