Mrs Le Pen’s candidate list is “the only sovereign list, the only list that calls for France’s independence and the only list which is in a position to block Emmanuel Macron and his steamroller-like anti-social policies,” Andréa Kotarac told the French news channel BFMTV on Tuesday. Mr Kotarac, a former member of far-left leader Jean-Luc Mélenchon’s presidential campaign team, added: “Although I do not adhere to the politics of the RN, the current political climate requires us to do what we can to counter Emmanuel Macron. “If Emmanuel Macron comes out on top in the elections, he will accelerate his anti-social reforms.”
