KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad would like to proceed with a second Samurai bond loan from Japan but said it would be up to the finance ministry to continue with negotiations.

He said Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe had approved the bond’s issuance.
