NU youth wing calls for arrest of HTI members in NTT for promoting caliphate

The youth wing of the country’s largest Muslim mass organization Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) has urged the police in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) to take stern action against active members of the outlawed Muslim group Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia. GP Ansor, the NU youth wing, stated the police should arrest Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI) members who continue to call for the establishment of a caliphate in the country. "GP Ansor in East Nusa Tenggara urges the local police to arrest HTI activists who are still promoting the idea of establishing a caliphate in NTT. Our country is based on law, so no one should escape justice.
